Product yield to achieve desired rate is 2 to 10 gallons per 100 square feet. Yield varies according to the existing surface texture. As a general rule, the smoother the surface, the less material is required.

Smooth surface built-up roofs – 2.5 to 5 gallons per 100 s.f. Gravel surface built-up roofs – 7 to 10 gallons per 100 s.f. Apply approximately 450 pounds of new gravel per 100 s.f. while coating is still wet. Metal roofs – 2 to 3 gallons per 100 s.f.

Surface Preparation

All loose gravel must be removed from ballasted roofs. Scrape back to a hard edge all loose or scaled coating. Make all necessary repairs to existing surface prior to coating. Splits, seams, blisters, cracks in existing surface and flashings should be repaired with #102
